Exfoliating Your Skin

So what exactly does it mean to exfoliate your skin and how can you do it?
Skin exfoliation means to remove the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing a lower, healthier layer of skin. Skin exfoliation helps rejuvenate the skin and prevents skin pores from blocking and bacteria from growing.

  • Wash your hands and skin with clean water.
  • Apply the exfoliating foam onto your skin.
  • Lightly rub with your hands in a circular motion.
  • Massage until a lather is formed.
  • Rinse with cool, clean water.
  • Apply a moisturizer to help keep the skin smooth.
  • For your body you can use a soft exfoliating sponge or luffah. However, for exfoliating your face we recommend using only your hands as they are much more gentle than sponges or luffahs and the skin on your face is more sensitive than the skin on your body. If your skin is easily irritated only use your hands for washing and exfoliating.

    WARNING
Exfoliating your skin causes the skin to dry out, so after exfoliating make sure you a moisturizer to prevent your skin from drying and the premature onset of wrinkles.
